Who wants a good bullsh*t story? I've got one!
I got a new set of headphones on Wednesday afternoon around 1PM to replace the ones that broke last week. I found a set similar to the old ones, made by the company of the headphones before them, on clearance sale for about $16. The price was a steal, so I got them. Little did I realize that I was the one who'd get ripped off in the end.
They ask if I want the receipt. Given my track record of headphones consistently breaking, I took the receipt. I also saw on the box that the headphones have a lifetime warranty, so one more reason to have the receipt with me. I leave the store feeling rather good.
The next morning, I open the box to find the headphones in pretty good condition, except for one minor/MAJOR detail: The headband holding the speakers together had snapped!! I hadn't owned the headphones for even 24 hours and hadn't even tried them to see if they work and they were already broken! I can't return them, since it was a clearance sale. As for the warranty… This happened. wickedaudio.com/warranty
